Social Impact
If You Want To Go Far, Go Together
Today there are 335 million people in the U.S. who are impacted everyday by our historic rates of youth anxiety and depression. These conditions are often triggered and compounded by our epidemic of loneliness.
Everyday’s sustainable, people-centered growth plan will enable us to achieve our mission of serving 10 million families by 2030.
We’re going Positively Together™.
$2 Trillion Annually: A Legacy of Sustainable Success
Per the International Cooperative Alliance:
The 300 largest co-ops and mutuals generate $2.4 trillion each year while providing essential services and infrastructure that society needs to thrive
1 billion people are co-op members around the globe
There are 3 million cooperatives worldwide
Co-ops provide sustainable economic growth and stable, quality employment to 280 million people around the world
Social Impact of Co-Ops
Everyday is relentlessly attempting to win by building on the untapped 150-year legacy of cooperatives (co-ops). We’re redefining what it means to join forces to solve urgent public health problems for our youth while reclaiming the most universal elements of the internet to better serve our communities.
Co-ops have positively changed lives around the world dating back to 1472. Their legacy in the U.S. is impressive. The Top 100 Co-Ops in the U.S. generated over $228 billion in annual revenue in 2020. Co-ops are people centered, sustainable enterprises that generate long-term prosperity for their worker and community owners.
In our current era of historic wealth inequality and Big Tech monopolies, we chose to be a co-op because it’s the most exciting and reliable ownership model that’s inherently designed for Everyday’s business model to thrive.
Our bylaws, which include our Core Values and 7 Principles, codify how we operate in pursuit of our mission without the pressures other for profit and non-profit organizations face. Our team and community democratically propel Everyday’s long-term success - one person, one vote - not an individual founder or influential donor / investor.
Everyday’s radically inclusive ownership structure is uniquely rooted in community for meaningful, sustainable social impact.
The 7 Cooperative Principles
Everyday is proud to operate in accordance with the international standard of 7 Cooperative Principles. For over 125 years, cooperatives (co-ops) have delivered meaningful social impact, essential services, and stable, long term work that surpass traditional for-profit companies. We’re democratically owned by our team and community.
